Dear Parent/Guardian,    

I hope everyone is getting by as we continue through these trying times.  No one is doing that well but together we can all get through this.   I want to assure you that we will do everything we can here at Durkin Park to keep your children engaged in their educational and emotional pursuits.  The next few weeks will more than likely contain many new directives on what will happen the rest of this year and how we will close out the 2019 – 2020 school year.  This is not the way any of us would want to see the year progress through June but it is what we have before us and it will be up to all of us to make the very best of a very bad situation.  All of your teachers will be reaching out to you as we learn more about how the rest of this year will unfold.  Things will be moving and changes may come rapidly so it is vital that you stay connected.  As a school community we will need to come together to help those of us who may suffer more than others and work together so that all our children can be successful.  My thoughts are with all of you and I wish you all the best as we work our way through the remainder of the school year.
